Hamilton Beach 04383 True Air Allergen-Reducing Air Cleaner is true to its title. Does it clean the air and Reduce the allergens. I put this in the room where my Boston Terrier hangs out and has the most amount of windows and sure as heck the particles floating around in the sun were gone in a few hours! I literally could breath the difference! I wish I could explain it better, but all I can say was that it smelled and felt much cleaner ... almost like a crisp morning in the fall. Air quality was truly different. The machine is not loud at all. It has 3 different speeds, but I found the lowest speed works fine if you leave it on all day. My whole family notices a difference. Very good product and it has a permanent filter ... woo hoo!

I bought this product for my son. He 's eight years old and suffers from allergies. He woke up every morning sneezing, and with a stuffy nose. I was looking for an alternative to giving him allergy medication every day. We keep it on the desk, right next to his bed. It 's incredibly quiet and it has helped his allergies a lot. After about a month of constant use on the medium setting, I vacuumed the filter. It was filty. I was very impressed with how much dust it pulled from the air.

This air cleaner is too quiet on low. It 's nice to have cleaner air isn ' t like loud hair dryer. We recommend this one.

Actually expected a better quality of permanent filters, but I was disappointed. It is a nylon filter or something surrounded by cardboard. We should have done much better than washable filters and better quality. I do not think that this filter will work only for vacuuming and simply do not hold, and I'm not sure if the filter is replaceable.

Our daughter has allergies and we 've tried several different air purifiers. This is by far the best we 've tried. It is much quieter than others, compact size, the filter is permanent, and it works great. We are getting another one for another room.

R ri Used To Have a different filter, which was Hamilton Beach ~ retail $ 50, and required new filters every 3 months. A few days ago, when I went to replace it, I saw that doesn 't offer the replacement filter, a more reasonable price. That 's when I drop this filter. I wouldn 't recommend it to anyone suffering from allergies to dust. R Ryou can still hear it in quiet mode, I usually let him out until late at night ... and then I Crank it high for a bit in my room before you turn it off. It seems to do the job well enough, but if you suffer from allergies to dust the way I do, I 'd recommend more environmental controls, instead of plunking down money in a low-end filter like this. R rEncase your sheets and pillows with covers of myth to the test. Vacuum all surfaces regularly, and wash sheets regularly. These will be more effective than this filter. And as a bonus side, your room is always clean:)

This air purifier seems to work as described. It 's really quiet setting is very quiet and ideal for use at night. The "Quick Clean " setting is high enough but it gets results! I found that the average parameter moves a good amount of air and couldn 't have fun at all in the same room. The air seems fresher smell after using this product. I got it because I have asthma and I just wanted a better quality of indoor air. I 'ma customer satisfaction. Moreover, with a permanent filter is a must for me when considering costs. This unit has cost a great value.

My father and I are both asthmatic, I was looking for air purifiers for a while and decided to have it. It was really the work as described. I could feel the different after 2 hours of continuous use. It runs really quiet with quiet mode. It is worth the money I spent.

This does a good job of filtering airborne particles. It has a green benefit, because the permanent filter is clean. When cleaning you will find a lot of dust, dirt / pollen / etc It is easy to clean, all you have to do is vacuum the filter. There are better filters out, but by the size and cost It 'sa good deal.

This filter does the job. 3 settings, whisper, gently clean and quick. The whisper setting you can barely hear, the other two you can, and it has a moderate air output. Within a day I could already see dust gathered on the filter. Never have to buy another filter, highly recommended!

I received the item (though late, Thanks Amazon), and it seems all my research into clean air has been paid. This little fellow is not exactly what he said and worked like a charm. R rHere 's why I bought it. I want clean air for small and medium businesses the room where I keep my cat 's box of junk. Anyway, this air cleaner so quiet in Whisper mode that I really can not hear it. I even put it into my roommate 's bedroom, just to see if he realized it was there, before moving to the final destination. He did not have a clue. R rthe model has a 3 speed, but good Whisper mode for everyday use constantly. Of course, you can change it, and you 'll hear it ' s low whirrrrrr, but it 's to be expected. R rAnother reason I bought it is that it IS a quality HEPA clean. But I don 't have to buy a replacement filter - ever. This one has a "stay " filter, which i didn 't even know existed. To clean it, he says about once every 6 months to only use the hose and brush attachment from a vacuum cleaner and sucked out. Really? That 's awesome! Why don 't ALL do this HEPA filter. That feels like nothing. I 'm not allergic to anything, but my goal is to keep the area near the kitty box smell like air, and not horrible ammonia. It has dramatically reduced the dust in my room. I love how quiet it is. I can 't notice function after a short time. I love that you can sit side ways and vertical.

This is a good product for the money. Has a powerful motor and easy to clean. E 'small enough to fit in many areas. You can also place it on one hand, if you have more space horizontally and vertically. Has been in constant use since its purchase and has not had any problems.
