Description

We used about 5 times today. He cooked to perfection. Set the time and when it is finished, it automatically switches to "Warm " until you're ready to eat. The price is much better than the same model at Target.

I've used only once so far for a beef stew & it worked great. Love all the features, especially the meat thermometer. He cleans up well & looks great! Will use it tomorrow for a roast. Urge all those who prefer to spend less time cooking in the kitchen.

To investigate this pot cooking slow and carefully made the right choice. I've used manual, timing, and characteristics of each honest and has worked perfectly. And the function of self is wonderful when you get hot at home when expected. Easy to clean and use, and really enjoyed the food. What more could you want. Hamilton Beach's website in line with many categories and recipes I've tried a few with good results. Yes, this is larger than some kitchens, but has a lot to eat and I have no problem of storage in this kitchen, when I'm finished.

I 't cook a lick, and I ' ve been able to make some meaning and robust stews lately. Rthe warming feature allows you to return home from work at your convenience without cooling off the food. R rOnly one minor issue is that the pot is difficult to remove because containment CLAMPS. R rOtherwise well.

My unit does not have the spoon holder locking lid and even if they are described in the manual. I wanted to make hot apple cider, but after 1 1 / 2 hours cider wasn 't even 100 degrees and there was a smell of burning plastic Foul. See why they call these slow-Cookers. Who needs it? Electonics every gadget are going to have its flaw. Nothing out there is perfect. R rHowever, FEW CAN come pretty close to being perfect. R rThis slow cooker would be one of them. The price is right, the features are great, and it 's the little things that makes it even better, such as the lid-locking handles. R ri can nitpick a bit and go into some minor stuff. But then again, I can do that with just about anything. R ri would highly recommend this cooker. It works great, it cooks great, and after one sits down and SEEs his / her family eating the delicious soup or stew that had been prepared in this cooker, with that big smile of satisfaction on their faces and the contentment in their eyes and feel that love that was poured into the cooker (although it is actually a lot easier for the cook, but the quality of love remains the same) while the "mmmmm, mmmmmmm .... Questions of criticisms were raised about what happens after a power outage with this product. With this device does exactly what it 'is billed to. What attracted me to this particular model was the probe that is very accurate. It allows for slow cooking cheap cuts to create tasty food on a budget. And it has triggered the suspension reliably in hot mode after reaching the right temperature or the end of cooking time. This feature is so kool feature that has been lacking for too long! (too much time on low overcooked) r also my humble opinion, there is no better and no new unit value better over there on the market.

Crockpot This is everything I was looking for my first slow cooker. Programming works great and very easy to use! Close stays on no problems with the hook. I have not tried to probe the temperature but I 'm sure that the great works, too. R rThis is big enough crock pot though so if you are cooking for 1 to prepare for a lot of leftovers (which ISN 't be a bad thing). R rOverall great product and I will definitely buy again.

This clay pot is an excellent buy! The 6-fourth of its capacity makes it ideal for large meals and the screen makes it extremely easy to use. I love the cover subject - makes me feel much better about taking my car full of food! Although I use all the features, but the intention of soon. This is by far the best and most affordable slow cooker I have owned (and I own very few). It is simple to use, but has so many different settings to make cooking simpler. The best feature for me is the meat thermometer configuration that allows a cook meat to a desired temperature. This means that not guess the approximate time of cooking. I really love this crock pot but, as other reviews noted, it burned itself sometimes. I live in a very remote area and we often lose power, so I may only have this problem with my slow cooker to buy. I'm just throwing things in it, is set for 8 hours or less, and automatically switches to warm when the time is up. When I got home, the house smell yummy ... is like having a wife at home to cook while you are at work. )

I finally bought this at Target sold. Only used once and get it back. Some observations I made in my own time. It's easy to use but a little too simple for what I was looking for. I want to be able to delay the start time. Cooking begins as soon as you set, and will switch to warm after cooking mode for a set time Allott. This is 12 hours before I went home and i didn 't want to sit during the warm food was. Probe also works well but not if you cook other things with meat. I cook roast cooked with a probe and the desired temperatures and done in about 4 hours. Carrots and potatoes are not even close to done, so I have to finish that in Micorwave. If it does not look like a good unit but did not meet my needs

Since the acquisition of this stove we have made great barbecue and boiled peanuts. Each Southern delicacy, and we defy any to tell us the difference between the old-timey way. Oh yes, that was the apricot chicken OTW and no work at all.

This slow cooking pot actually does what its done. The probe temperature fabulous works. I have told several friends to buy one too and feel the same way. Each type of roast beef that have treated of [12 to date] have proved, not cooked or undercooked. Easy to follow instructions. I only wish there were more recipes.

R rPros: r-programmable, can be set low or high temperatures to September period of time, or even use the built-in thermometer probe r-Will hook that allows you to secure the lid for a slow cooker unit, so you can transport the stove with food for the potluck or other event r - large 6-quart capacity to make a fantastic meal at the same time r rCons: r-Slow cooker should be filled at least half way, so these stoves are not always suitable for making snack r-Cord is very short, so that should be placed within a foot or more of an outlet

I just received this item after reading all the positive comments. None of the reviews that I read caught my attention in the spinal miserably short. That works very well for an outlet on a desk behind him. But if you go further, to forget. It won 't reach an exit in front of our kitchen island, even with the jar against the counter ' s front edge. So we must resort to an extension cord ugly. Rthe Kitchener has a nice 4 foot long cord with storage underneath, but has many negative comments about cracking pots. Rone one negative: Many comments highlighted the positive aspects of the lid closure, but some consider as the clips are awkward when Don 't want to use, and only wish I exited the track. As an examination showed a modest design change would have allowed the handles of the clips fall out of danger in the form of hands and pot holders. I think that my model might be defective and I am returning it but thought I would leave a review anyway. I used this product twice and used the programmable function. Both times I tried to cook on low for 8-10 hours. It would switch itself back to manual mode High. I tried to use the manual mode on low and it would switch itself to high. I read the other reviews prior to buying this on and a few of the others had the same complaint that it would switch itself to high or warm. I will be ordering another brand. In general though it did a great job cooking the 2 dishes that I prepared, but on high .... thankfully I was home both days I used to, otherwise I would have had seriously overcooked food.

We have used the Hamilton Beach Set 'n Forget Programmable Slow Cooker for a month now and can ' t imagine not having now. We replaced the ancient rival appears that work well but it 's age and pain to clean and store. Programmable controller in the set 'n Forget extremely easy to operate and horizontally oval design allows you to put the roast chicken or flat. Exterior finish, removable lid and the pot is easy to clean. We never had a problem or failure is not known for cooking programming as stated in other reviews though we haven 't experienced extended power failure while cooking. We have a power blip or two that didn 't cause the loss of programming. Confirm that the cooking unit as soon as you enter your program. Low temp "keep warm " feature is very good. I hope it lasts for Rival.

I had this slow cooker for a few months and love so far. It 'also very nice looking. I will be buying at least one as a Christmas present.

I 've Had many slow cookers over the years and this is by far the best one EVER. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is if you could program what time to start cooking.

Our previous Crock Pot kicked, then went on the market for a new one. I liked the look of this one, most had read good reviews about it, so I tried. We have been using it since the day arrived and we are very happy with it! There are so many options with regard to how to cook - for control of temperature or the traditional low / high settings. I love that it changes to heat the end of a cooking cycle. I love even more the seal around the lid and clamp on the lid - no more spills in transit! Husband R rmy love too. He calls it "The Crockinator," because he said that decimates the competition. LOL! R as put, it works well - very well - and we appreciate everything you 've cooked in it so far: pepper, roast beef, porketta ... all were juicy and delicious. I recommend to anyone looking for a versatile slow cooker. He makes a wonderful addition to any kitchen.
